"I recently attended a seminar at Doral sponsored by the FCA. It is the Doctors of Chiropractic:SPORTS curriculum. Dr. Baron and Dr. Bagnell presided. It included a lecture by Dr. Mike Bagnell dealing with the neurology of athletic performance and healing. How visual patterns and training tie into improving performance. Very innovative and exciting information of procedures being currently performed with athletes and non-athletes. This was followed by another innovative and exciting concept put together by Dr. Spencer Baron to have the class actually go to a major league ballpark and talk with the head athletic trainer for the Miami Marlins. He followed a case from the inception of the injury, mechanisms of compensation and ultimate resolution for the athlete. We also got a tour of the stadium. Dr. Baron is the team chiropractor for the Marlins and quite bluntly, singlehandedly, made the entire weekend of classes worthwhile. In my 30 years as a chiropractor attending seminars, this was one of the most educational and fun courses I have ever attended. Thanks FCA, Dr. Baron, and Dr. Bagnell for a great experience.”
